Eschatology is Victorious not Partial Preterist

I decided a long time ago that I would believe the Bible is the word of God, and that if a church doctrine conflicted with Scripture, the church doctrine was wrong. Such is the case with the doctrine of Partial … Continue reading

The Players, Agenda, And Power Ties of the Global Dominionist Movement

This Article is Posted by permission and provided by Dawn Ciminski.

Intro: This is for everyone, religious or non-religious, Catholic or Protestant, Charismatic or Baptist, this affects YOU. If you don’t go to any church, you need to read this because the Dominionist agenda is ultimately political, and it is affecting you and your future whether you realize it or not. If you are a Christian, you NEED to know that this movement has its tentacles into virtually every known denomination. It is impossible to turn a blind eye and think that it doesn’t affect you or your church, because it now encompasses most of the authors, evangelists and doctrines (non-biblical) associated with Christianity. In the evangelical world it’s being advanced through the Emergent Church (Joel Osteen, Rick Warren, Rob Bell, Richard Land of the Southern Baptist Convention, among many others). You NEED to be aware of the books and authors your church teaches and affiliates with, and closely examine their doctrines. If your church has put an emphasis on experience over doctrine, new spiritual practices over orthodox biblical doctrine, or if it has redefined or expanded anything that has been traditionally considered Christian, it has most likely turned into a Dominionist church and you need to get out. Make no mistake: it is happening everywhere and the people behind it will not rest until your church is transformed into their image. Once-orthodox churches are falling like dominoes under the “Apostolic Authority” if you don’t believe me just look into it.  They are highly organized with virtually unlimited wealth and influence.

Below is a very detailed, excellent overview of the Dominionist movement within the church and politics. It was written & put together by very dear friends of mine who are also relatives. As you’ll see their expertise on the subject far outweighs my own. It is long but definitely one of the most important things you’ll ever read. If you have to read it in increments over time, I implore you to read it ALL. Thank you and God bless you as the Spirit leads you into ALL truth. As always, FEEL FREE TO PASS THIS ALONG!

One World Government with a One World Church

Under the guise of many “words”, messages, and terms, one main message is being pushed: globalism and ecumenism.  This is being accomplished on many fronts but of most concern are the doctrines of:

  1. Unity (through the emergent church and one-world government people)
  2. Dominionism (through the Charismatic wing of the Church)

Unity:

Unity at the expense of doctrine.  Though this message is being preached ad nauseum from almost every public ministry, the main proponents are Rick Warren and Bill Hybels who have both signed a document by the Yale Center for faith asserting Christians and Muslims worship the same God.” [Brannon Howse, Grave Influence, pg. 260]. They are actively working toward the merging of earth’s religions by a.) watering down the gospel of Christ, saying all paths lead to God; b.) Promoting a social gospel in place of the real one; and, c.) aligning themselves with people like:

Tony Blair: head of the Tony Blair Faith Foundation (to advocate One World Religion and Social Justice) and outspoken supporter of Gay Rights has stated, “God’s Spirit moves through us and the world at a pace that can never be constricted by any one religious paradigm. Be wary of people who think theirs is the only way. [Brannon Howse, Grave Influence, pg. 260.] Mr. Blair has been a keynote speaker at multiple Willow Creek Conferences and believes doctrinal distinctions are divisive and the enemy of peace. Members of his board include a Zen Buddhist, a Hindu from Minnesota, an Anglican, Rick Warren, a Rabbi, and others. Their goal of healing the divisiveness in the world feeds into the end-time ecumenical effort predicted in the Bible. Mr. Blair is also a member of the Fabian Socialist Labor Party and has given numerous interviews regarding globalism and the need for the religions of the world to come together.

Note: The message of healing doctrinal division is coming from the Charismatic wing as well.  Their answer however, is focusing on “experiences” with God instead of doctrinal theology.

Bono: My husband was asked to attend the Leadership conference at Kentwood community, a video stream from Willow Creek, featuring Bill Hybels with special guests Tony Blair and Bono, formerly of U2 and blatantly Satanic. Bono, whose well-known chant is “Jesus, Buddha, Mohammed, all true,” is also working with Tony Blair to promote a One World Religion and Social Justice causes.  In the video conference he told Hybels how Christians had failed because they weren’t helping the poor. As stated in Brannon Howse’s Grave Influence, many evangelicals are promoting a social gospel which is nothing more than socialism in a pretty package.

Brian McLaren: Emergent Church pastor and speaker at Willow Creek Conferences (namely April 2008) who has said “the cross and hell are false advertising for God.”

Rick Warren: On the Faith Foundation: “I honestly don’t know of anyone better suited for this challenge. It’s why I agreed to serve on the Advisory Board. The Tony Blair Faith Foundation’s potential for doing good is staggering.”

On Warren’s P.E.A.C.E. Plan & UN Goals: Warren’s P.E.A.C.E Plan and partnership with the UN is helping merge politics and religion. They are becoming one as politicians use religion to promote globalism and religious leaders in turn promote the United Nations and One World Governmental Goals with politicians. Rick Warren, in serving on the boards of UN Non-governmental Organizations (NGO’s), is legally obligated to promote all the goals of the United Nation’s Global Management System. Cloaked in Christian language, his P.E.A.C.E. plan is a perfect vehicle for meeting UN goals. See:                                                   http://www.crossroad.to/articles2/05/peace-un.htm

On Peter Drucker and Fabian Socialism: “Rick Warren says he was mentored for years by Peter Drucker. We have now discovered that Peter Drucker admitted to be influenced by John Maynard Keynes who was a Fabian Socialist. Could this help explain why Rick Warren promotes his three legged stool of Communitarianism that calls for a partnership between the government, business, and non-profits? What do Fabian Socialists believe?” [From the Brannon Howse Radio Show, aired On January 3, 2011]

On Islam: Rick spoke at the Islamic Society Convention in July 2010 in Washington DC. This is an organization affiliated with Moslem leaders like Dr. Siddiqi who has led flag burnings in Los Angeles, cursed the American flag, affirmed his support for terrorist organizations Hamas and Hezbollah, and has publicly affirmed the Qur’an, demanding swift justice against those who oppose Muhammad and Islam.

On New Age: Rick Warren is now listed as a guru. See http://numii.net/word_press/gurus

Rick Warren also promotes, endorses, quotes, and writes with various New Age leaders. For example, Dr. Leonard Sweet, a popular Emerging Church leader, also considered to be a New Ager, who suggests “practical ways” to “communicate God’s unchanging truth to our changing world” including using a labyrinth or visiting a meditation center. Sweet says, “Postmodern culture is a change or be changed world. It’s time for a Post Modern Reformation…the wind of spiritual awakening is blowing across the waters… [times are changing and you’d better] reinvent yourself for the 21st century or die.” Sweet also thanks inter-spiritualists/universalists such as Matthew Fox (author of The Coming of the Cosmic Christ), Episcopalian priest/mystic Morton Kelsey, Willis Harman (author of Global Mind Change) and Ken Wilber (major intellectual in the New Age movement) for helping him to find what he calls “New Light.” Sweet adds that the “old teachings” of Christianity must be replaced with new teachings of “the New Light.” Sweet also tells his readers that humanity and creation are united as one, and we must realize it. Once humanity comes to this realization, Sweet says: Then, and only then, will a New Light movement of “world-making” faith have helped to create the world that is to, and may yet, be. Then, and only then, will earthlings have uncovered the meaning … of the last words [Thomas Merton] uttered: “We are already one. But we imagine that we are not. And what we have to recover is our original unity.” “The Christian of tomorrow will be a mystic, one who has experienced something, or he will be nothing.” [Mysticism] is metaphysics arrived at through mind-body experiences. Mysticism begins in experience; it ends in theology.”

For a list of New Age authors, teachers, and other questionable “Christian” leaders Rick associates with, promotes or endorses see: http://www.inplainsite.org/html/rick_warren_new_age.html#RW-Sweet

Bill Hybels:

Advocates and endorses all the above, hosting conferences with all the above people.

Note: Rick Warren and Bill Hybels are products of Robert Schuler, who says:

“I was the first person to introduce real church growth to the American Church. …He [Hybels] became the first guy to take these principles, refine them, maximize them to the ultimate length of their potential… I am so proud of him… I think of him as a son. I think of him as one of the greatest things to happen in Christianity in our time. …Bill Hybels is doing the best job of anybody I know!” [G.A. Pritchard, Willow Creek Seeker Services: Evaluating a New Way of Doing Church, Baker, 1996, p.56, quoting Robert Schuller]

What does Schuler preach?  In his own words:

“We can pray, ‘Our Father in Heaven, honorable is OUR name…’” [Self-Esteem: The New Reformation p. 31]  “Classical theology has erred in its insistence that theology be God-centered, not man-centered.” [Ibid p. 64]  “The church’s problem is that: 1. It has had a God-centered theology for centuries when it needs to be a man-centered one; 2. We’re not bad, merely badly informed about how good we are; 3. It would be an insult to the integrity of any human being to call him a sinner; and,  4. Jesus knew His worth; His success fed His self-esteem. He suffered the cross to sanctify His self-esteem and He bore the cross to sanctify YOUR self-esteem. The cross will sanctify the ego trip.” [Ibid p. 115]

Dominionism:

Dominionism theology is predicated upon three basic beliefs: 1) Satan usurped man’s Dominion over the earth through the temptation of Adam and Eve; 2) The Church is God’s instrument to take Dominion back from Satan; 3) Jesus cannot or will not return until the Church has taken Dominion by gaining control of the earth’s governmental and social institutions.* [emphasis added]  Al Dager, Vengeance Is Ours: The Church In Dominion (Sword Pub., 1990), p. 87.

See:http://www.arkhaven.org/dominionism_trojan_horse_in_charismatic_movement.htm for a good overview.

Dominionism is a teaching that essentially advocates taking over the world for “Christ.” TO achieve their “transformation” (big buzz word!), objective truth (i.e. fundamentalism, etc.) must be destroyed and replaced with subjective truth (i.e. feelings).  When the kingdom has been subdued, the Christ or “Messiah” will be able to return and the kingdom will be handed over to him.  Until man has sufficiently reached Christ-consciousness, or earned the “anointing,” the Christ cannot return.

This teaching has reared its head in the church continually over the past 2000 years under various names but was first easily recognized in our day as preached by Paul Cain during the healing revival of the mid 1940’s, along with fellow ministers William Branham, Jack Coe, T.L. Osborne, and A.A. Allen, etc. The movement was officially decried as heretical until 1987 when Kansas City Fellowship leaders Mike Bickle and Bob Jones embraced Paul and his message, serving as a springboard to spread the message to the church.

Paul teaches the Latter Rain doctrine of the “Manifest Sons of God” which proclaims a “new breed” of believers will attain immortality and conquer the last enemy of death in the last days. According to proponents of this theology we are not to look for Jesus to come back physically but rather, prior to the Lord’s physical return, Jesus will spiritually and invisibly come again to a corporate body of believers. This end-time new breed of believers will be perfected, glorified, and qualify for immortality here upon the earth prior to Christ’s return. Impregnated with the presence of the “Christ,” this indestructible and immortal company will put all things under their feet. These “Manifested Sons of God” will receive divine gifts, including the ability to change their physical location, speak in any language, and be able to perform miracles such as divine healing and raising the dead.  As the “Man-child” of Revelation 12, they will rule and reign the nations with a rod of iron and as the prophetic fulfillment of “Joel’s Army” in Joel 2 and Revelation 9, this army will put all things under its feet as it rides forth as God’s agent of judgment to rid the world of evil by overseeing drastic judgment on all who remain in the ‘old generation.’

This man-child company is also commonly referred to as; The Latter Rain; Manifest Sons of God; Man-child Company; Dominion Theology; or Kingdom Now.  Teachings include: Progressive Revelation, Revival/Harvest, Joel’s Army, Replacement Theology, Post-Millennial Eschatology or Preterist/Partial Preterist Eschatology, Victorious Eschatology, Signs and Wonders, Territorial Warfare, Ecumenism, Restoration of Apostles and Prophets, Jubilee/Feast of Tabernacles, and the Post-denominational Church.

Mormons, Jews, Muslims, New Agers, One-Worlders and Christians all call for some form of Dominionism. The goal is ecumenicalism.

This IS the core issue of the end time deception!  WHO builds the kingdom?  Answer that question and you know which “side” people are on. The charismatic crew, the likes of Rick Joyner, Cindy Jacobs, C. Peter Wagner, Elijah List people, Bill Johnson, etc., are ALL dominionists/preterists/amillenialist!  They all adhere to this teaching.

The list of names associated with this teaching basically encompasses every Charismatic teacher/preacher publicly known.  The “King” of the movement is:

C. Peter Wagner:

Known as the founder of the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR), Peter Wagner promotes Kingdom and Dominion Theology. This belief system proclaims that Christians will take over America and the world politically, socially, and economically and usher in God’s kingdom on earth. His endorsement can be found on most popular books circulating in Charismatic Christian circles.

According to Dispatch Magazine “Wagner is awaiting a ‘critical mass’ of Christians to arise to takeover the political systems of the world.” A NAR produced conference brochure stated “this conference will cause the Body to understand God’s ‘new’ order for this coming era.” A March 2001 article in the Plumbline reported, “When asked what he (Wagner) thought the main stumbling block would be, that would keep leaders from embracing the Apostolic Reformation, Wagner cites, ‘a commitment to tradition amongst ministers.’ Wagner states: ‘I think that some are bound by religious forms and functions that are ineffective and I think in many cases it is demonic influence.”

Gnosticism:

Please make sure you have a thorough understanding of Gnosticism.  What we are experiencing is, in principle, the resurgence of Gnosticism.

The Seven Mountain Prophecy:

The latest teaching in the Charismatic world is The Seven Mountain Prophecy.  “God” has told the Christians to “use our influence” and strategically place themselves to take over the “seven mountains” of society in order to “advance the Kingdom of God on earth.” This is the exact same seven major fields of world work New Age “goddess” Alice A. Bailey instructed her disciples to take over (see Brannon Howse, Grave Influence, p.59).  Once they do, the “final battle” will be between “self-professing” believers and true believers.

Rick Joyner, General Jerry Boykin, and Dr. Lance Wallnau are the main proponents pushing this through conferences, The Oak Initiative, and organizations like Transformation Michigan (transformation =  ushering in the new age of the Christ). If you’re interested, read The Seven Mountain Prophecy by Johnny Enlow and Victorious Eschatology by Harold R. Eberle & Martin Trench. These are now “bibles” for the Dominionist crew, laying out their core beliefs and the plan to “take over” for Christ.

In a nutshell…

According to Johnny Enlow’s The Seven Mountain Prophecy: Unveiling the Coming Elijah Revolution, the final “mountain,” and the most difficult to take over, will be the mountain of religion.  Why?  Because the whole world will essentially be “converted” in the upcoming revival so everyone will appear to be “Christian.”  First he defines the “holy people” of Daniel 12:7 as religious, “left-brained” Christians (that’s you and me, in case you were wondering) and describes how their power will be “completely shattered… [meaning] a complete dismantling and pulverizing of the religious spirit’s operations… is coming” [pg.134-135].

Then it gets really ugly. The following quote is quite long, but Enlow continues, p 135-137:

“Our last religious enemy will be more difficult to discern: that which has come onto the mountain of religion calling itself Christian. Just as Jesus faced the greatest persecution from the very ones who were supposedly looking for the Messiah, so too will the advancing church face its greatest challenge from those who profess Jesus. These will be the final “holy people” to be completely shattered, which means ‘shatter, break, dash, beat in pieces, pulverize’…they will not be our enemies, but we will be their enemies….”

“Left-brained Christianity will be the last great religious enemy that the church of Jesus Christ will have to face… The reason this form of Christianity will be such a difficult enemy is that, for a season, it will be mixed in with the advancing true church. A time is coming when it will seem as if the whole world is converting or about to convert. No other major religion will be left to knock off the mountain. At this time, the religious spirit will again reinvent himself and team up with the prince of Greece. All those believers who have not been freed from rationalism will come under its power. They will attempt to use Christianity’s newfound power to advance their version of Christianity with reason and sophistication. This last Anti-Christ will look good, but will be in its ultimate disguise – a true wolf in sheep’s clothing. I believe this is the fourth beast horn from Daniel 7:20 – ‘that horn which had eyes and a mouth which spoke pompous words, whose appearance was greater than his fellows.’ The prince of Greece always comes with pompous words…”

“This most heavily disguised Antichrist will prevail for a season against the saints who have just experienced a tremendous world harvest [the huge outpouring of the Spirit they are expecting, with miraculous signs and wonders to convince the whole world to follow Christ].”

“Antichrist can also be translated ‘against the anointing.’ The Greek word Christos means ‘anointing.’ (It’s a translation of the Hebrew word for messiah, which also means ‘anointed one.’) This antichrist can ultimately be discerned by its anti-anointing stance. It will be pompous and subtly oppose all the manifestations of the Holy Spirit’s power. Believers who live their lives resisting the anointing will become an unwitting part of the Antichrist’s resistance, a tool of the anti-anointing.” [pg. 136-137]

Earlier in the book, Enlow thoroughly explains how one can only truly be saved if one is a right-brained thinker.  Why?  Because he claims one can only have true faith if one has “experiences” with God, which right-brained thinking allows due of its subjectivity and reliance on experience.  He further states that Jesus was a right-brained (subjective) thinker who challenged the left-brained (objective) religious people of his day.  The same thing is meant by the phrase “prince of Greece.”  Left-brained Christians are too rational, bring division due to their emphasis on theology, and squeeze out the Spirit of God.  Also, the “anointing” they refer to is the current “outpouring” of the Spirit in Charismatic circles accompanied by uncontrollable laughter, dog-barking, acting drunk in the spirit, and constant special revelation, signs and wonders, and “experiences” with God that are about to bring about a world-wide revival. The question is, what spirit are they really talking about?  What spirit is behind this?  This is the same teaching that has been preached by the New Agers for over 100 years.

Redefinition of Terms:

As part of this deception, basic fundamental terms are being redefined with Dominionist and/or Gnostic theology. For example:

Anti-Christ:

A person against the anointing

Johnny Enlow, The Seven Mountain Prophecy: Unveiling the Coming Elijah Revolution, pg 136-137“Antichrist can also be translated ‘against the anointing.’ The Greek word Christos means ‘anointing.’ (It’s a translation of the Hebrew word for messiah, which also means ‘anointed one.’) This antichrist can ultimately be discerned by its anti-anointing stance. It will be pompous and subtly oppose all the manifestations of the Holy Spirit’s power. Believers who live their lives resisting the anointing will become an unwitting part of the Antichrist’s resistance, a tool of the anti-anointing.”

Bill Johnson, When Heaven Invades Earth, pg 79, 81

“The nature of the antichrist spirit is found in its name: anti, “against”; Christ, “Anointed One”… the spirit of the antichrist is at work today, attempting to influence believers to reject everything that has to do with the Holy Spirit’s anointing.  That sprit has worked to reduce the gospel to a mere intellectual message, rather than a supernatural God encounter.”

Christ:

A person who has been “qualified” by being baptized in the Spirit

Bill Johnson, Face to Face with God, p.109

“The outpouring of the Spirit also needed to happen to Jesus for Him to be fully qualified.  This was His quest.  Receiving this anointing qualified Him to be called the Christ, which means “anointed one.”  Without the experience there could be no title.”

Bill Johnson, When Heaven Invades Earth: A Practical Guide to a Life of Miracles, p.79:

“Christ is not Jesus’ last name. The word Christ means ‘Anointed One’ or ‘Messiah.’ It is a title that points to an experience. It was not sufficient that Jesus be sent from heaven to earth with a title. He had to receive the anointing in an experience to accomplish what the Father desired.”

Face to Face with God: The Ultimate Quest to Experience His Presence, p.200:

“Most all of the experiences of Jesus recorded in Scripture were prophetic examples of the realms in God that are made available to the believer. The Mount of Transfiguration raised the bar significantly on potential human experience… The overwhelming lesson in this story is that Jesus Christ, the Son of man, had the glory of God upon Him… Only Peter, James, and John were privileged to be a part of this event. It was so extreme that Jesus warned them not to tell anyone about what they had seen until after His Resurrection… Certain things have no place in our hearts until we know of the Resurrection through our own conversion experience.  Through the Spirit of the resurrected Christ living in us we are designed to carry the same glory. But first we must go up the mountain – to the place where we meet God face to face.”

The Great Commission:

Extending the kingdom of heaven on earth.

Bill Johnson, The Supernatural Power of a Transformed Mind, p. 38

“We, the Church, are called to extend His rule on this earthly sphere, just as Adam was called to do. We see this in each commission shown in the gospel… God gave the same instructions: In essence… demonstrate who I am and what I am like. Extend My Kingdom!” “There is no CO-missioning without SUB-mission to the primary mission. So what is the primary mission? …we are to destroy the works of the devil. ‘For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8b).’ That was Jesus’ assignment; it was Adam and Eve’s assignment; it was the disciples’ assignment. Believers, that is your assignment as well. God’s purpose in saving you was not simply to rescue you… His purpose was much bigger, much more stunning: He commissioned you to demonstrate the will of God, ‘on earth as it is in heaven,’ transforming this planet into a place radiant and saturated with His power and presence. This is the very backbone of the Great Commission and it should define your life and mine.”  .”

Bill Johnson, The Supernatural Power of a Transformed Mind, p. 46]

“His purpose… is to raise up a delegated group of people who work with Him to destroy the works of the devil, who demonstrate and prove the will of God here on earth as it is in heaven. That is the core of the Great Commission, and it is your privilege and mine to co-labor with Him in it.”

Repentance:

Returning to the Great Commission

The Supernatural Power of a Transformed Mind, p. 44:

“Renewing the mind begins with repentance… Jesus said, ‘Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ To many Christians, repent refers to having an altar call where people come forward and weep at the altar and get right with God. That is a legitimate expression of repentance, but it’s not what the word repentance means. ‘Re’ means to go back. ‘Pent’ is like the penthouse, the top floor of a building. Repent, then, means to go back to God’s perspective on reality. And in that perspective there is a renewal, a reformation that affects our intellect, our emotions, and every part of our lives. Without repentance we remain locked into carnal ways of thinking. When the bible speaks of carnality, it doesn’t necessarily mean obvious, disgusting sin. Most Christians have no appetite for sin… but because they live without the demonstrated power of the gospel, many have lost their sense of purpose and gone back to sin.  Having a renewed mind is often not an issue of whether or not someone is going to heaven, but of how much of heaven he or she wants in his or her life right now.”

Face to Face with God: The Ultimate Quest to Experience His Presence, p.46:

“But the reason we don’t automatically get it is that we have to receive divine grace [as defined in other places, this means favor that we receive through continuous revelation and then must steward] from God in order to see things from His perspective. This process of perceiving and coming into agreement with God’s perspective is called repentance… we repent when our sorrow over sin leads us to the place where we receive power from God to change the way we think.”

Born Again:

Seeing the kingdom of heaven literally displayed on earth.

The Supernatural Power of a Transformed Mind, p. 45:

“Jesus said that ‘unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God’ (John 3:3). What does that mean? Well, Jesus was not saying that we would have visions of heaven, though I know that happens. He was speaking more practically. He was saying that when our minds are renewed, we will see the kingdom displayed and proven as He did in His earthly ministry. That’s what it means to “see” the Kingdom of heaven.”

Gnostic principle/story of the Garden of Eden:

Face to Face with God: The Ultimate Quest to Experience His Presence, p.32-33:

“While Adam and Eve were placed in a garden of perfect peace, the garden itself was placed in the midst of turmoil. It was in this original setting that Adam and Eve were given the assignment to subdue the earth. God said, ‘Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it.” (Genesis 1:28). As they increased in number they would be able to establish and extend the rule of God over the planet by representing Him as His delegated authorities. The reason that the territory beyond the garden was in turmoil was that Satan, one of the three archangels, had set up his rule there after being cast out of heaven for his rebellion and his desire to be worshiped like God. God in His sovereignty allowed the devil to set up his rule on planet earth because His intention was to bring eternal judgment on the devil though mankind, in particular, through the fruitfulness of intimate, co-laboring between God and man. We must always remember that Satan has never been a threat to God. Instead, God chose to give those who were made in His image the privilege of executing the judgment of God on all the fallen hosts. God determined that it would be fitting for the devil’s defeat to come at the hands of those made in the image of God, who worship Him by choice, because it would mean that the devil would be overcome by those who succeeded where he had failed.”

When Heaven Invades Earth: A Practical Guide to a Life of Miracles, p.30:

“Man was created in the image of God and placed into the Father’s ultimate expression of beauty and peace: the Garden of Eden. Outside of that garden was a different story. It was without the order and blessing contained within and was in great need of the touch of God’s delegated one – Adam. Adam and Eve were placed in the garden with a mission. God said, ‘Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it.’ It was God’s intention that as they bore more children, who also lived under God’s rule, they would be extending the boundaries of His garden (His government) through the simplicity of their devotion to Him. The greater the number of people in right relationship to God, the greater the impact of their leadership. This process was to continue until the entire earth was covered with the glorious rule of God through man. But in Genesis chapter 1 we discover it’s not a perfect universe. Satan had rebelled and had been cast out of heaven, and with him a portion of the fallen angels took dominion of the earth. It’s obvious why the rest of the planet needed to be subdues – it was under the influence of darkness. God could have destroyed the devil and his host with a word, but instead He chose to defeat darkness through His delegated authority – those made in His image who were lovers of God by choice.”

Further Questionable Teachings in the Church:

From The Elijah List                                                             January 10, 2011

Dennis Cramer:

Eleven “Words” for 2011!

It is Time to Dust Off Your Bible!

Picture in your mind, if you will, the image of an unused, dust-covered Bible. Now picture in your mind that this same dust-covered Bible is your Bible! This is not a good image to be sure, especially for a Bible-believing Christian in 2011. Sadly, many Christians now read more books about the Bible then they do the Bible itself.

Consequently, many in the Church have gradually and somewhat unknowingly, become Biblically ignorant, unaware or stunted. And doctrinally speaking, anything goes. There is now wide-spread acceptance of “marginal to heretical” doctrines. Just 25 years ago individuals would have been thrown out of the Church if caught teaching these heresies. How did this happen?

Simply, we have become Biblically ignorant. We have not been diligent to feed on the unadulterated Word of God. We are at best malnourished, and in some cases, starving to death. Biblical ignorance is on the increase in the Church, even to epidemic levels! Like any form of “lack” created by ignorance which can lead to sickness, only the proper “intake,” or in these cases, only proper Biblical education can remedy it.

Warning: We Live in an Age of “Anything Goes” Theology! The Charismatic Church is in Big Trouble!

So, here is my 2011 prophetic “prescription” for this beautiful but Biblically challenged, even unhealthy, Bride.

1. Orthodoxy! I would like to prescribe a good healthy dose of the written Word of God, the Bible. The Church needs an immediate injection of the truth! We must all pray for the Church to return to the orthodoxy (traditional belief) of Scripture. This means a return to the proper reading, INTERPRETATION, and application of the Bible in our lives. There is a growing trend toward some really bad doctrine out there. And we, the Church, must put a stop to it! If we don’t, no one else will! The Church must begin to police herself against unorthodox (false) teaching and bizarre practices. You must reacquaint yourself with the Scriptures and know your Bible.

In 40 years of serving God, I have not heard so much bad doctrine preached from so-called “Bible-believing” Christians – specifically charismatic Christians.

2. Berea! We must pray for a “Berean Revival” in the Church – a revival which returns us all to our roots – our roots in the Word of God. In the Bible, the original Bereans were Believers who “searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things be so.” There is a lot of doctrine currently in circulation in the charismatic Church that is highly questionable – even heretical.

Each Believer must begin to “search the Scriptures” for himself to discover whether what he is believing is Biblical or not (Acts 17:11). Stop unequivocally trusting ministers and their pulpits to always and completely preach the truth – some do, some do not. You need to search and know the Scriptures for yourself. If their teachings sound too good to be true – they very well may be! Know your Bible.

3. Preach the Word! (2 Timothy 4:2). It is time for the Church to return to her basic Bible beliefs (fundamental doctrines) and the core values these fundamental doctrines produce. Peripheral doctrines or beliefs are peripheral for a reason, and can lead to dangerous theologically positions and questionable practices. We must stop extracting obscure, vague, single, solitary verses out of context, and stop trying to make major “sound” doctrines out of them.

This “stretching of the truth” must stop. Some of our so-called “proof texts” do not prove what’s being preached at all. We are “twisting the Scriptures to our own destruction.” We must again major in major doctrine and minor in the minor ones. My prophetic word to all Pastors/Teachers for 2011 is simple: “Preach the Word!” Know your Bible.

Some examples of current doctrine circulating in the Church: You must believe me that I am NOT making this stuff up!

• Open Theism: Teaches God is not sovereign

• Ultimate Reconciliation/Restitution of all things

• The “nefilin” children alive on earth

• Open Heaven/Spiritual portals

• Third Heaven experiences at will

• Going to Heaven at will to get your gifts

• Cloud of witnesses/dead saints

• Traveling in time at will

• Transporting physically at will

• Over-emphasis on angels and specifically arc-angels

• Going into trances at will

• Trance dancing

• Going to Hell to discern evil spirits

• Hyper-Grace: Christians do not need to repent of sin

• Meditation/Altered State through soaking music & contemplative prayer

See http://elijahlist.com/words/display_word.html?ID=9490 for the 2011 “Word from God” regarding discerning the false teaching in the church right now.  It’s a good “word” but beware…basically everything on the Elijah List promotes the above practices.  It’s surprising they would make such a “word” public.

Bottom line, it looks more and more like what Paul warned us about!

1 Timothy 4:1

“The Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons.”

2 Timothy 4:3-4

“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away [their] ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.”

2 Thessalonians 2:3

“Let no one deceive you by any means for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first. :10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. :11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie.”

When asked what would be the sign of His coming, Jesus first response was “take heed that no man deceive you.”  He continued, “For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect – if that were possible.”

Deception is always subtle; it creeps in and cloaks itself as a wolf in sheep’s clothing.  It would behoove us then to understand the enemy’s plans in order not to fall prey to his lies in these perilous days.
